The Society&#8217;s Constitution provides for a member of the Committee to act as a representative to <em>Making Music<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>National Federation of Music Societies<\/em> was founded in 1935 at the instigation of Sir George Dyson (1883-1964) who became its first Chairman and President.
